The Women on Missions group meets once a month to sew several types of items for cancer patients and women and children in protective care homes. They are a very active part of our church family and love to serve the community.
ESL Classes
The HOPE ministry offers FREE of charge classes to anyone desiring to learn the English language. The classes meet every Sunday at 4pm in the Education Building.
Sonshiners
Sonshiners is our Senior Adult ministry here at Fairview. They meet every 2nd Friday of the month for a potluck dinner and entertainment. It is a great time of fellowship and good eats. There is always a wonderful group here to entertain and led us in worship.
The Student Ministry here at Fairview, is driven by one main focus, which is equip the leaders of tomorrow with a strong Biblical foundation. The students have there own building and are constantly busy in Bible study or ministry activities.
Men's Ministry
B.I.C. (Brothers in Christ) meet the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 8am for prayer and Bible study at the Whataburger on Hwy 303 and SW 3rd Street in Grand Prairie.
Women's Ministry
The women meet every Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M. for a time of encouragement and Bible study. If you are interested in this ministry, please come and join them. They meet in the Fellowship Hall.
Choir
Every church needs a choir and Fairview has some great talent. Our choir is a essential part of our morning worship service and is made up of both youth and adults.
Church Missions
The church is involved in missions both locally and internationally.
Food Pantry
Providing one or two days worth meals to people in need. Till other resources can be found through other organizations in the community.
Awana is a fantastic Children's ministry thatis focused on teaching the Word of God to the children. During there time in Awana they memorize scriptures and have a great time of fellowship and playing games. Awana meets each Wednesday at 6:30 P.M. in the Education building and runs in conjunction with the School Year calendar.
Boy Scouts of America
Most people would not think of Boy Scouts as a ministry in the church, but it is a wonderful way for us to reach out to boys that would not normally enter into the church for youth activities and introduce the Bible to them, through the fulfillment of the Scout Law, which requires all Scouts to be Reverent.
